*Write a five-paragraph essay in which you demonstrate how your poem is Homeric in style. Quote from the Iliad in order to compare your work to his. You will need to do the following:

  1. Create an arguable thesis statement that answers the question, “Is the poem a successful imitation of Homer? Why or why not?”
  2. Use direct quotations from your poem and from Iliad.
  3. Look carefully at Homer’s diction and imagery.*

IMPORTANT:
1. The poem must be 16 lines long, no longer or shorter than that, unlike the previous attached example.
2. Unlike the previous attached example, please do not include outside sources it is not required, in the essay you just have to use direct quotations from your poem and from the Iliad.
