Instructions
Write a 1000-word short analysis paper in which you analyze a television show, news show, or advertising campaign. Your analysis must include a discussion of its innovation or lack of innovation, the nature of its production techniques, its main or recurring themes (as outlined in the course), and its underlying social messages (hegemonic values). You must also provide an overall evaluation of the show or campaign in your conclusion. Use both course material and external academic sources related to the study of television, and cite all sources in APA Style.
Each assignment must analyze a different genre. For instance, if Assignment 2 focuses on an ad campaign, Assignment 3 should cover a news or television show. Two different genres of television shows (excluding news) are also acceptable.
